From the first time she set foot into the garden with her grandmother, to her first garden at 21, to writing her first book, "The Texas Flower Garden," Kathy Huber has labored with a sense of passion that only those who truly love gardening can understand.  As Garden Editor for the Houston Chronicle, she has shared her love for gardening and seen countless Houston gardens.  Witnessing the changes brought about by recent years of warmer temperatures has resulted in her new appreciation of tropical and subtropical plants.
