Brazos County Master Gardener Association, Inc. is a non-profit, educational and volunteer service organization affiliated with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, an agency of the Texas A&M System and is open to people of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, handicap or national origin.
The program is designed to increase the availability of horticultural information and extend horticultural projects throughout the county. Our Association is a member of Texas Master Gardener Association. The Texas Master Gardener program is one of the most effective volunteer organizations in Texas and is the largest Master Gardener program in the nation.
This successful public and private partnership benefits our community through our educational programming, activities, Community Projects and expertise by significantly multiplying the outreach of Extension. In 2014, the economic value of our 5,312 service hours translated to over $115,000 in benefits to our community.
