Learning at the Library – “Trees for Brazos County”

November 17 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

A tree can add beauty, value, and a host of sustainable benefits to your home and yard. Tree enthusiast and Master Gardener Colleen Batchelor will share practical tools to help you select, plant and establish the right tree for your yard.  Texas Arbor Day is in November because the fall is without question, the best time to plant trees in the Lone Star State. The program will cover site assessment, the best trees for Brazos County and caring for newly planted trees. This program is open to the public at no charge.
