We will take a look at the most useful culinary herbs for our region, with emphasis on how to grow them and how to use them. This program is open to the public at no charge.
Presented by Henry Flowers – Henry is a native Texan and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and in 1993 with a Master of Agriculture degree in Floriculture. Upon graduation he joined the staff of the Antique Rose Emporium where he helped to design and implement new nursery-gardens in Georgia and in San Antonio, TX. He later managed the main retail facility and gardens in Independence, TX. For 16 years he served as Director of Gardens and Grounds for the Round Top Festival Institute and now works for Glasco & Co. Landscaping in Brenham, TX. He loves herbs and is a lifetime member of The Herb Society of America.
